Under the influence of gravity, as the age progresses, skin sagging and fat accumulation occurs along the lower jawbone, especially in the upper parts of the face. Cheekbones lose their prominence, face looks tired due to sagging. As a result of all these deformations, we can perform operations for our patients sometimes in all areas and sometimes in any of the sections that we classify as “upper, middle and lower face’. Face Lift Operation and After The incisions after the face lift attempt are usually in the temples, starting from the hairline, following the natural line in front of the ear (or the inside of the cartilage in front of the ear) and behind the earlobe. In this way, the post-operative traces are hidden and there are no traces left. The operation may vary from 2 to 8 hours depending on the part of the face and usually requires overnight hospitalization. Some minor procedures can be performed without hospitalization under local anesthesia. Although postoperative edema and swelling are observed, it decreases considerably within a week, and the patient can return to work after the sutures are removed on the 10th day.
